"Aho Mitakuye Oyasin" comes from the Lakota Nation and means "all my relations". It is spoken during prayer and ceremony to invite and acknowledge all relatives to the moment. It reflects the world view of interconnectedness. I received this song after a profound ceremony many moons ago. It has become a favourite circle song at meditation gatherings in Australia and often referred to as "The Mother's Milk". Thank you to all of you who have sung this with me in sacred space and encouraged me to record it. Blessed be.
